L’Alcove is a French dining destination defined by its strong, immersive cabaret atmosphere. The problem? Their existing menus and visuals felt disconnected from the magic of the venue. The challenge was to execute a total redesign of their graphic assets so that every physical touchpoint reflected the drama, elegance, and mood of the space.
I completely reimagined their art direction and menu design, treating the physical menus more like theater playbills than standard restaurant lists. By sourcing bold, dramatic imagery and designing rich, tactile layouts, I created a visual system that acts as a direct extension of the cabaret performance.
A perfectly unified dining experience. The new menus are no longer just functional items; they are captivating objects that instantly pull guests into the cabaret universe before the food even arrives. This strategic alignment between the physical space and the graphic identity significantly elevated the restaurant’s brand positioning.
